CRT or Bartram Trail?

I’ll be doing a 3 day trip over Columbus Day in oct. Should i do the CRT or the Bartram? Why? Let me know what ya’ll think eh? Thanks, Mark

CRT = very cool. Fishing, swimming, and a fairly easy/moderate trail. I highly recommend it. Peace.

I didn’t run into many people at all while hiking the Chattooga River Trail over Labor day weekend. I found it strange for a holiday, but true. That’d be my suggestion. It’s well marked and frequently runs along the river with lots of nice campsites.

Of the two, I’d definitely say that the Bartram Trail gets a lot less traffic.

Well, that depends. The Chattooga River Trail is shorter and easier than the Bartram Trail (in my humble opinion) but if I remember correctly they are one in the same for a section along the river (so you could actually do both). I’d probably do the CRT first. The scenery is better and the terrain is easier. Plus you can always knock it off and get some miles on the Bartram Trail taken started in the process and do it later.
