The begginning part of the trail is mostly riverside until you get to the Mountains to sea Trail, from there it climbs into higher elevations, there is a great view of looking glass rock after alittle while on the Mountains To Sea Trail. After the Mountains To Sea Trail you have to get on the Graveyard Ridge Trail, from there we got on the Blueridge Parkway from the Forest Service Road 816 trailhead,Once on the parkway we Backtracked to U.S. 276 then followed it down back to The Trailhead. |
