Trip Report: Hiked with the Greenville Natural History Association. Weather was chilly but got warmer late in the day. The hike went through high elevation bogs and oak hickory forests. The hike starts at the parking area and travels across old agricultural fields and then into an area ravaged by beavers. The hike then climbs in elevation to a long ridge. The trail passes into the south mills river. The trail then goes past the gauging station and ends up back at the parking are after crossing a few boardwalks. With 2 miles to the parking lot a front blew through and a storm blew over and a short rain came aver. Lots of other opportunities for other hikes and or biking trails.
