Trip Report: The weather just got warm and I wanted to do this hike before the mosquitoes were swarming. This was a cool hike with lots to see. I went after a week of heavy rain, so things were flooded. I hiked alone. The trail starts on the boardwalk, which has some cool views of cypress swamps. The trail as followed rivers and streams so there was no shortage of scenery. When I started the lake trail I jumped around 50 wild hogs in different groups. Mostly piglets, bud did see a few very large adults with tusks. Saw an oxbow lake and some of the largest loblolly pines I'd ever seen.
