Trip Report: Met the Rooster and Max this afternoon at the trailhead to get out and get some exercise over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was breezy and very cold this morning, but by the time we started the hike around noon, the wind quit blowing and it had warmed up significantly. We started with the Woodland Loop Trail and walked past many families that were out with their kids. There are slides, swings, etc. on the trail so it appears that many of the local neighborhoods take the spur trails into the park. We enjoyed the fall foilage and cool weather today and also did hikes on the Boardwalk Trail, North Trail, and yellow Trail over Wildcat Creek. It only took us an hour to cover all the trails in the park, and we finished by hiking back across the main driveway and across the ballparks which are near the trailhead.
