Trip Report: We were up by 8am this morning and wasted little time packing up and hitting the trail since it was still pretty chilly out. Pratt and the Ox blazed an easy route along the Conasauga that made our bushwacking efforts yesterday seem ridiculous. As a group, we hiked out of the ravine in about an hour, but Pratt and the Ox beat us to the trailhead by a good fifteen minutes. The sun rose high enough for some rays in the last mile and by 10:30am we were on the road and headed into town for some eats. The Rooster and I lost Pratt in transit when we took a wrong turn in Chattsworth, so we ended up eating at Krystal via the drive-thru. We made it back to Atlanta by noon, and I was only about fifteen minutes late for the Christmas exchange with the wife's family.
