Hike Summary: | The Debord Falls trail is basically a service road used by forestry service to access the lookout tower. It is an easy 0.6 thenth of a mile hike each way. There is an observation area for the falls and steps that will take you to the bottom of this 5 foot water fall. The water level varies during the year according to the amount of rain we get but it is still very beautiful to look at no matter what the level. Many people wade in the stream below it on very hot summer days and it never fails to cool you off just thinking about how the cold the water is in the heat of July. |
