Directions: | From the US-33 E bypass around Lancaster, Ohio, take the Tarkiln Road exit and turn left onto Tarkiln Road SE. Travel approximately 0.6 miles and continue onto Horns Mill Road. In another 2.6 miles, turn right onto Horns Mill Road SE. In another 2.0 miles, continue onto Hide a Way Hills Road. In 0.2 miles, continue straight to stay on Hide a Way Hills Road. In another 3.8 miles, take a slight right onto OH-664 S and the parking lot for the west trailhead will be on the left in approximately 1.1 miles. |

Hike Summary: | This particular hike starts at the west trailhead and travels east-northeast and then south-southeast along the Buckeye and Pond Trails for approximately 1.3 miles to the second of two ponds along this section of the trail. The hike then returns to the parking lot via the same route. There is also another parking lot on the west side of OH-664 approximately 0.4 miles north of the west trailhead parking lot. Directly across from the parking lot on 664 and over the guardrail there is another small trail to Robinson Falls, also sometimes referred to as Corkscrew Falls. These falls are worth viewing, but a permit is required. |
