Hike Summary: | The hike up the Wedge Brook Trail can be steep at times with a moderate climb as a lot of elevation is achieved. The view of pyramid and Sawteeth is beautiful and you can see Armstrong on the other side of it, which you approach next on a fairly easy climb. The views are also breathtaking here, but the trip becomes a little anti climactic as the wolf jaws arent as challenging and the views are not as open. Upper wolfjaw has a small outcropping that provides a view while Lower WolfJaw is pretty well covered during the leafy seasons. In the winter I imagine more landscaping is viewable, but visibility may be limited. |
