Hike Summary: We took 3 nights to take this hike. Staying at Upper Two Med, NO Name Lk and Morning Star campgrounds. WE dropped a car off at the cutbank trail head and one at Two Medicine lake. The first 3.7 miles can either be hiked or via a boat ride across the lake, we chose the boat ride! The hike to upper two medicine is a short distance 2-3 miles from the boat dock. The section to No Name lake was about 3 miles and we went up aprox 720 feet. The lake was set under a 2000 foot cliff (just guessing the drop). The next day was tough day. We hike 9 miles over Dawson and Pitimaken Pass (up 2200 feet) to morning star lake campsite down (1900 feet). Along Dawson pass most of our group (there were 12 of us) took a side hike up Flinsch Peak (up and down another 1600 feet). Flinsch peak (9225ft) was incredible-- 360 views of much of glacier national park with helicopters flying below us! It was a long, but rewarding day where we ended up exploring some Ice Caves at Morning star lake campground. The hike out cutbank pass was relatively uneventful compared to the day before.
