Hike Summary: A very family friendly trail that offers an unmistakeable, well managed trail. When the board walk isn't beneath your feet you are on a trail wide enough for a full sized truck and in most sections spread with gravel. At this time of year (October) the observation deck at the beginning of the hike is pretty much useless, as foliage keeps you from seeing the falls from this far away. A couple of switch backs brings you to te base of an impressive 300 feet fall. It gives the visual affect of the peak of this mountain sprouting a waterfall, as the water trickles down in many different paths till reaching the creek at the bottom. It is a board walk with railing at the bottom, and there are many signs threatening strict penalty for anyone getting off the trail.

I would recommend this hike for any large groups look for a simple day hike, or groups with small kids or elders, as there were many of all of these on trail.
