Hike Summary: | This Hike Begins at Parking Area Down the road fron The Walasi Inn at Neels Gap. You will follow the Reece Access Trail until it connects with the Appalachian Trail. When the trails connect turn right onto the Appalachian Trail and follow the white blazes to the top of Blood Mountain. It is a moderately difficult Trail, as it is all up. the Hike is well worth the challenge, the views atop are some of the Best in Georgia. There are also Many unique features at The Top such as Large Rocks/Cave Below The Shelter. This is a great Day Hike if your in the Area, or even a nice overnighter if You happen to be short on time but still want to see great views. A Definite Must See for any Georgia Hikers, or Visitors in the Area. |

Hey Bam Bam, do you know if dogs are allowed on Blood Mt? I was hoping to take the dog out this weekend if the weather continues to stay this nice.
