Hike Summary: This hike follows the Appalachian Trail northbound from Tray Gap (at U.S. Forest Road 79) to Tray Mountain. It is a steep but short climb to the summit which had limited views at the top. Continue from Tray Mountain down to the Montrey Shelter less than a mile away for a campsite with some great views to the east.
