| Hike Summary: | the hike begins at mountain crossings on hwy 19 also known as neel gap it climbs aproximately 700 feet before winding around to the levelland mountain view there are a couple of campsites and several small springs for water before you reach the tesnate gap parking area. Next is wild cat mountain which has a nice view and then the whitley gap shelter then the hogpen gap parking area. After climbing up poor mountain you will decend almost 600 feet to the low gap shelter. |
