| Biography: | I have been hiking in NC, SC, GA & WY. I like to go hiking to see waterfalls, great views, or just enjoy beautiful foliage. I prefer to go hiking with family, rather than alone. I have two children, Jimmy (8) and Hanna (3) who I take hiking with me most of the time. I also hike with my sister, father, or father-in-law. My wife (whom I love very much) does not share my love for hiking, but we do other fun things together, such as go to movies. I love this website and am looking forward to adding some hikes to it. |
| My Best Hike: | DuPont State Forest |
| Best Hike Description: | This is actually several hikes, and I have not seen them all. I have been to Triple Falls, High Falls, and Hooker falls in this NC State Park. I would like to see the Bridal Veil Falls and other walks here as well. Beautiful waterfalls and enough challenge and beauty to keep even the extremist from getting bored. Cons: no high views down the mountains, just views of great waterfalls. |

| Worst Hike Description: | 15 miles of moderate to strenuous hiking in an isolated area. We did not see any other hikers or wildlife the entire time. No real views (except some gorges), no real variety of foliage. |

| Dumbest Trail Move: | "Fishing Bridge" in Yellowstone National Park has a big "No Fishing" sign. |
