Hike Summary: Dunn's River Falls is a 180 feet high and 600 feet long waterfall near Ocho Rios, Jamaica which is a major Caribbean tourist attraction that thousands of visitors climb up each year.

There are several small pools in sections of the waterfall that make for a great place to stop, take a photo break and swim a bit. Due to high demand, many people hire a guide service and begin their climb from the Caribbean Sea in small groups . There is a take-out point at the top of the falls with restrooms, souvenir stands, and access to the road.

Expect to see a lot of people at the falls especially on a warm sunny day, but it is worth the trip if you’re in the area. Dress appropriately since the cold spring water can be chilly at times. It is also recommended that you wear water shoes. There’s a charge to climb the Falls buy you can check out their website for details - see contact information above.
