man, sometime you just want to get away … that’s what it’s about for me.
I got a big screen TV in 1994 and rented CliffHanger with Stallone. It definitely is one I remember.
Saw it. Dude was a headcase!
I have a Kelty and a 1 1/2 year old and can relate to your issue although I’ve never tried a pillow. The kid pack is like a sleep magnet. The baby falls asleep in the first ten minutes were on the trail. It’s like clockwork.
I use them occassionally when hiking in snow/ice conditions or in areas with a lot of stream crossings.
When I go out when it’s cold – it’s to see snow.
Looks like the movie got pushed into 2010:
And beware of the flying Dutchman, Aghrr!
Yeah, Mitchell is better but the snow is likely deeper with more wind and less cover. If you pull this off, I’d love to see photos from these places in the winter.
Try the Apex 65 – lightweight, inexpensive and durable.
I wouldn’t sleep naked on the hottest summer night. That’s making a statement!!! More power to you if you can pull that off in sub 32 temps – especially if you just ingested a bottle of booze!
Just saw it – a little overdue, but can’t believe the guy lasted as long as he did.
Love my Gregory pack.
Bought this one recently and love it. Lightweight and great for weekend trips.
Shakespeare makes a collapsible rod about 14″ when collapsed. I have the smallest reel shindaiwa makes on it, with 4 pound test, and it has been great for years of catch-and-release fishing.
I thought I was going to die on the N. Kaibab trail last summer…. It was great though! And yes, by God, there is a bar in the bottom of the canyon. Although it’s only open for two hours. But hell, I’ll take that any day.
