It would appear there is a good chance we’ll be leaving Savannah, Ga for Fort Drum, NY (yes, BIG TIME CHANGE OF CLIMATE), especially for a bunch of southerners.
I’m looking for intel on the trails in upper NY. I’m very encouraged with the Adirondak being in such close proximity. Any good advice on trails we MUST check out?
Generally, what’s the best hiking season in this part of the country? I don’t mind being in the cold, but let’s not be ridiculous about it now.
