Trip Report: A short, but difficult climb for a small waterfall. (I did not go to the second two falls, because I was too tired the climbing I had already done.) A group from our church always does this hike after a weekend at Palmetto Bible Camp, and the camp uses this trail frequently during the summer. Because of the relatively low elevation and thick foliage, this hike is best enjoyed in late Fall, Winter, or early Spring. It was really hot and humid when I visited, which took something away from the experience. I have not been since 2006, but when I went the trail was full of thick foliage, which, while beautiful, makes the hike more difficult. I got the sense that this was not a frequently used trail.
