Hike Summary: | A well groomed, and well marked trail. Plenty of "ankle breakers" make for some fun rock hopping going both ways. The summit can also be reached via a tourism road that allows people to drive up from the village itself. On the summit is a picnic/ recreation area complete with BBQ grills, picnic tables, bathrooms and Gazebo. The actual hiking trail itself was steep enough to get in a good workout and also had enough rock scrambling and hopping to keep it interesting despite its relatively easy nature. Great views of the Lake and Village from the summit looking East. But not so awe-inspiring views from the other directions. Still, a nice hike. |
