Trip Report: We could only go on the raised board walk because so much of the swamp was under water due to recent heavy rain. This is a hidden treasurer right in the middle of our state. The trail we took was flat and would be an easy trail for anyone in decent heath or those in a wheel chair. Even small children would get a thrill. We saw a red tailed hawk and a mole swimming. There are several nice benches along the way where you can just sit and absorb your surroundings. The size of the trees were amazing. We will definitely go back when the water is recessed.
