Trip Report: |
Hiked with the Columbia Outdoors Group. Started at 11:30. Everyone hiked very slowly. Weather was warm, about 65. No one was camping, due to Easter weekend. The Chattooga River was really clear. Walked along the river until Ellicott Rock. Met 3 more people in the group and ate lunch along the river. Couldn't find Ellicott Rock due to high water. Print picture of rock before going next time. Found governors rock. It was a USGS medallion on a rock in the middle of the river. Trail was surprisingly dry for a little after a big rain event. |
