Trip Report: | I did this hike, spending alot of time in the water fishing for trout. The fishing was very good too. Be sure to make the short side-trip to Spoonauger Falls. You can easily turn this hike into an overnighter. There are plenty of nice places to camp along the river. This is black bear country so it is highly recommended to observe the common rules associated with traveling in their territory. |
