Trip Report:	We had again kept the fire stoked all through the night, taking shifts to get up and stir it and fuel it, but it proved to be a much colder night, and we woke up to 12 degree temperatures in the morning. We had originally given ourselves the option to do some additional hiking on the last day, but it had been a cold night. It was a tough decision since the snow had once again continued to fall through the night and was still coming down. It was a beautiful winter landscape, but in the end we opted for the short ½-mile hike to the trailhead and a nice hot breakfast at the local greasy spoon. All and all, this was a great trip, and I can’t help thinking about maybe adding a pair of backcountry skis and a nice pair of skins to my wish list.
