Trip Report:	Hiked ~2 miles in to a waterfall on the Tuckasegee River. Had great weather for an early January afternoon. Took the dogs on the hike and surprisingly did not see a single person on the trail until we reached the river. I was hiking in a short-sleeve shirt by the time we got back to the truck and the parking lot had nearly doubled in car volume since we left at 1pm. It’s surprising that we saw only a handful of people on the trail today. Most must have gone to Schoolhouse Falls or stayed on the valley floor.
