Trip Report: Mike and I pulled up into the parking lot late Friday night. We had a quick dinner and hopped into the tents to crash. Bright and early Saturday morning, we shouldered packs and headed up the trail. Its a well marked and good trail, and we made decent time. Just after lunch we pulled up onto the ridgeline and found the crest trail. Selection of a camping spot soon followed, and we dropped tents and started to build a fire ring. We set up the cameras and tripod for a good series of sunset pics, and made lunch, along with coffee and Bailey's. A hearty dinner followed, along with more Bailey's. Sleep came soon after. Sunday morning brought a fairly early breakfast, and we started back down the trail to the car. Beautiful trip, and highly recommended.
