Trip Report: This place is awesome. My commander and I were out not catching fish and decided to take a break and check this place out. I was blown away and want to figure out how to hike all of the 27 miles of trails/roads in the refuge. I'm kicking myself because I didn't have a camera on me and didn't think to use my camera phone so I owe you one from our next trip here.

Gators are in the area so you must be careful. We saw a lot of deer and coon tracks. If I was retired from the Army and a million, billionaire, I now know where I would live for the rest of my days.

The roads are sand and wide and the trails I did see are great. We didn't make it to Fort Morgan so we'll start at that end tomorrow. Check this place out over all others in the Savannah area!

There is a ton of dolphine in the area, saw 7 about 200m from the dock. Area is great for fishing for redfish and shark. Saw several jellyfish in the water, but that's pretty standard for the entire area.
