I took the "little Canyon Loop" route.

This route is about 2.5 miles.

I took the Easy street trail from south ridge. Followed it to Telelegragh Canyon.
Followed Telegraph Canyon East 0.69miles passing the Gilman trail. I then proceeded up Little Canyon Trail/road. The trail meets with the south ridge at the top. I followed south ridge, viewing hawks hunting in the tall grass. South ridge heads back west towards the trailhead about 1/2 mile. Views are excellent of Telegraph Canyon, Gilman Peak, even Mount Baldy peeks out from behind the hills. Views of the Santa Ana Mountains, and Orange county are also possible. The only down side to South Ridge is, you leave the quiet seclusion of Telegraph canyon for the noise of freeways and neighborhoods.

I kept heading west, winding around until I reached the trailhead at dusk.
