Trip Report: | A bit chilly with the wind off the ocean but otherwise a great hike today. Tide was out, not many seashells. Saw three dolphin after a cargo ship came through. Lot's of tourists from the snowbound states in shorts and no shirts, risking hypothermia but it's their vacation I guess. Great sunset on the backriver today, very cold walk back to the car 3 miles away. Made harder by lugging around a huge piece of drift wood (tree branch), my idea, all 200 lbs of it. Trail boss laughed non-stop at my determination and pig headedness...note to self, smother trail boss in her sleep tonight. |
