Trip Report: | All the many times I have driven past the gorge and never knew there was so much here. If you are coming from Alanta up 441, take the next road to the right, which is for the state park. From here you can access all the wooden trails and stairs that take you around the rima nd down to the bottom of Tallulah Gorge. We stopped here after weather ended a backpacking trip in N.C. a little earlier than planned. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. |
