Trip Report: The sun came out just as I crossed from Cherokee County into Bartow County on 140. This was my first time hiking this trail and my two dogs and I hiked both loops. With all of the rain, some low areas were muddy and a few places on the trail were muddy and slippery. Other than those few areas, the whole trail was in great condition. There are a few places where trees are precariously suspended over the trail just ready to fall, hopefully when no one is around. We started off at 1PM and got back to the car at 3PM. Had a nice break at the quarry. Noted to self that I will bring back snorkeling gear to check out the pool before attempting to jump off the rocks into the water.
