Trip Report: | Started at 10:00. Weather was cold and sunny. There was a 1200' elevation change in the first mile and a half. At the first overlook, snowflakes began to fall. The snow fell at an inch an hour to 3 ". We hiked the Rim of the Gap trail which was closed at the time. The dynamics of the trail changed from beginning to the end and we were worried about the amount of snow and finding the trail. We got wet and cold but completed in our allotted time. Great hike but bad weather. |
