Trip Report: |
This is a short trail approximately 1 mile and starts out from the main park entrance road. It is a very easy trail to hike with very little altitude gain and a couple of small red foot bridges which cross over a couple of small streams to get to the actual Japanese tea garden. I was quite surprised that the building for the tea garden is only a few hundred feet from the main park road but is very well camouflaged by a stand of bamboo trees. Although it has not been maintained all that well it is still in decent shape and is very a very interesting thing to find in a state park. |
