Trip Report: The two mutts and me arrived at the trail head at 5:00 after a long drive from Augusta. The trip down was uneventful, as we were the only hikers out. Stopped and set up camp at what appeared to be a somewhat frequented spot near the river. The dogs had a great time running around the woods and swimming in the creek. A sinus attack lead to an early departure the following evening. The hike out was quite the workout. It felt like three miles straight up.

Everyone that has posted anything about this location has been absolutley correct. The river was great, and the woods were beautiful. Being the end of summer, it appeared that the water level was down a bit, but there were still many small waterfalls to enjoy all up nad down the river.
