| Trip Report: | The Beaver Pond Nature Trail was a nice relaxing walk through sandhills pine forest. I took my time on this 1.3 mile trail and enjoyed the squirrels along the way. The beaver pond was nice but I was there in the middle of the day, and didn’t see any beavers. When I return to do this again I will start later, so I’m at the pond at dusk. I’ll just have to remember to bring my headlamp. |
