| Hike Summary: | Slide program, exhibit room, spectacular views of the gorge, picnic tables and a fully-accessible boardwalk. Visitor center is open year-round from 9am to 5pm. This boardwalk offers scenic views of the gorge and New River Gorge Bridge, plus displays on area points of interest. A fully accessible ramp leads to the first viewing point, then 178 steps descend to the lower overlook. |
