| Hike Summary: | This is a short steep hike to the top of Bald Knob at elevation 4,365 feet. The trail passes through a dense deciduous forest, which is blanketed with a nice fern undergrowth. At the top, there is a small rock outcropping with expansive views of the New River Valley. |
