This place sounds really interesting and it's close to Knoxville and Gatlinburg if you just want to take in a dayhike and have kids interested in astronomy. The park has a planetarium and live animals, fishing, etc. Does not mention camping but also does not say, no camping and I've weaseled my way into a lot of camping by just asking and appearing mature.
