Hike Summary: | Starting at the Nature Center, take the Carrick Creek trail until it splits. Take a right and follow the Table Rock trail. At roughly 2 miles, after the CCC shelter, it splits again. Take the right to the Table Rock summit. After enjoying views from Governors Rock and the from the east face of Table Rock, backtrack to where the trail split last. Take the left and continue to Pinnacle. The trail will circle over the top of Pinnacle and continue back down towards Table Rock, crossing over Bald Knob with splendid views of the foothills and Table Rock. At this point, it returns to the Carrick Creek trail and follows the creek to the end. Before finishing, there is a spur to Mills Creek Falls that is worth the effort. |
