Hike Summary: | we began our trip at 3:00 in the afternoon. We parked at burrells ford rd. we proceeded down the trail approx. a mile and found a flat campsite. as we began to set up camp, it began raining. Ah, the joy of rain. we got settled and cooked our steaks on the open flame of the fire, we rolled corn and thre it in the fire. we then went to sleep. the night temp was approx 45deg. little chilly but felt good. woke up the next morninh and went back to King Creek Falls. it was gorgeous. i will be going back there soon!! we then hike over to spoonauger falls. I would highly recommend this area to anyone. |
