This trrail hugs the west rim of Linville Gorge with almost constant views from cliffs averaging about 400ft. Climbers also use it. It can be a gentle trail if cut wide enough but currently, it gets rougher and narrower as you go along. it skirts canyons and visits near spectacular rock outcrops, caves and a few waterfalls. It will become a famous trail, one of the best in the southeast.
