Hike Summary: | This trail is really easy to follow even with no blazes to guide you. Simply follow the main trail down from the parking area to the valley floor and a t-junction. Take a left and then follow the trail paralleling the creek until you come to a junction with a trail to the right that requires you to immediately rock hop across the creek. It's the first junction with a trail that crosses the creek. Follow this across the valley floor to another t-junction. Take a left here and follow to the next juction with a trail branching to the left. This one is a relatively steep climb up to the ridge/top of Little Green. You'll pass several rock out croppings with great views of the valley and the trail head you left earlier. Then down to schoolhouse falls, then cross a wooden bridge and turning left at the juction over the bridge. This will take you back along Panthertown creek to where you rock hopped over the creek and then back to the parking area. |
