Hike Summary: | This is mostly flat hiking on well maintained trails. There are campsites with water and outhouses. The hike includes views of cypress swamps (requires tick and mosquito repellant) nice views of Goose Creek and the Pamlico River. I have encountered many snakes of various types as well as deer. Great day hike or stay overnight. Area fishing is good. |
