Directions: | On South Senic Ave the trail head starts at about where the city and county line is. or by the 1/2 mile sign posted for the walkers. Stay on the county side. There is a ditch go accross it. Into a wash heading towards the mountain. You can see table top. (mesa) Keep heading to the mountains on the trail untill you come to a cross road at the foot of the mountains. There is a old water heater and air conditioner there. Head south following the base of the mountain road. On your left another trail head starts up the mountain to table top. (I marked it with 4 stacked rocks) |

Hike Summary: | It took some thought to find a new way to get to Table Top, since all of the urban spraw that is in the area now. The start of the hike is pretty easy. When you get to the trail heading up to the mesa I think that is when the hard part starts. Wear good boots and take some treking poles if you have bad knees like I do. Pack in your own water there is nothing out here. If your in doubt of the starting trail follow the footprints. |
