Hike Summary: | The drive is a bit scary its a one lane road. RV are advised to use a different route because of all the turns. The visitor Center has a bit of useful information . The hike starts with you going over a foot bridge crossing the Gila River. You then walk into the tight canyon. There are some swichbacks to go up to the Dwellings, but its not that bad. I thought that the Dwelling were going to be alot bigger than they actually were. I thought it was funny that such a small place was a National Park site. The best part was trying to go down this ladder back to the lower loop. It was either this or go back around. We opted for the ladder. Over all, I dont know, maybe visit if you plan to do other things in the area. |
