Hike Summary: | This is a really nice park, one of the nicest in Monmouth County, the views, the history, the trails. I did a multiple trail loop, this being my first time at Rocky Point, there are paved trails, and traditional wooded trails. All very nice. The views of the Navesink River, Sandy Hook and the Atlantic are beautiful. The history of the property is also cool, bunkers of all kinds from WWII, protecting us from enemy navys. Believe it or not they were out there. Its a great park and very doable for familieas of all ages. |
