Hike Summary: | A very quick, but rewarding hike to see Baring Falls. I've done this hike in two different years and both times, my hiking partners were glad we did. The elevation drops about 100 feet form the parking area to the falls and another 20 or so to the lake. It is a well groomed trail and you can actually scramble your way up the west side of the falls to the top for an interesting view. Baring Falls itself is quite nice as you can see from the photos. If you get water, I would treat it given the proximity to the road and the somewhat regular use of the path. |
