Hike Summary: | Its a very short hike, coming in at a total of 5 miles in and out, but its just absolutely gorgeous back in there. There are three waterfalls, the largest one cascading from inbetween huge cliffs at the end of the trail. These falls are the centerpiece of the trip, and make a awesome place to scramble on rocks, and enjoy the scenery. You can climb to the top of the cliffs via a steep bank covered in roots to climb on. The trail itself runs right next to the river, and many parts put you walking right next to complete drop off of over 30 feet. Also, there are numerous places to set up camp, and I have found some of the smaller rock faces along the trail to be great for bouldering! |
