Hike Summary: | Hembree Park is a city park in Roswell, GA that is frequently used by baseball players since there are about six fields on site. The walking trail loops around the ball fields and is on a gravel path that is in the shade much of the time. It is a fairly easy trail that is used frequently by those that live in the area. There are actually backcountry campsites here that were built by the Boy Scouts. A picnic pavilion, fire ring, and and tent sites are situated near a stream in the back section of the park and the trail passes right by them. Contact the Rec Center to make a reservation because you will need a permit to use these campsites. |
