Hike Summary: | One of many hikes on the beautiful Berry College campus. This is an extremely easy hike on an old dirt/gravel road. You will cross a beautiful old stone bridge. There are a couple of gates with "permit only" entrance signs. I called the campus security and they stated this was applicable to motorized vehicles only - it is fine for bicycles, hikers, horses, etc. There are a lot of paths/trails on the Berry campus that are not mapped anywhere to my knowledge. You will pass several turns on this hike, but just keep straight. The trail is mostly shaded and flat, so it is an easy hike. Just be sure to take water as there are no sources on the trail. |
